Overview
| With the fast growing pace of development in the computer hardware field,
it is important to learn the basics and keep up to date with the latest information. This
tutorial is designed for students to understand the basic concepts of computer systems and
its components. This tutorial has been designed with IBM-PC compatible computers in mind (usually with an Intel microprocessor and running Windows95 as an operating system). General explanations can be applied to Apple computers or even to minicomputers and mainframes. The tutorial is designed to be used by students, who are then able to go through the designated work at their own pace. These web pages use java and gif animation, so a java compatible browser with the ability to display gif animation is recommended. |
