Lost Property
If you have lost any property within the labs or building, it may have been returned to the Helpdesk Lost Property Box. Please come to the Helpdesk and check if we have your belongings. (DIS Reception Level 4, 111 Barry Street)

Loans
CD's and textbooks are available for loan at the Helpdesk.
You will be required to leave your student card, in exchange for the item, until it is due back.
Please note: Overdue loans will result in your account being suspended, until the item is returned.

Requesting Technical Help
If you are unable to find the help that you require at this site, please contact the ICT Helpdesk (DIS Reception Level 4, 111 Barry Street)

Reporting Faulty Machines
If you encounter faulty equipment, please feel free to report it to the Helpdesk (DIS Reception, Level 4, 111 Barry St). When reporting any faulty equipment, please ensure that you provide the following information:
- The room number
- The computer number (Please use the barcode number of the barcode sticker attached to the computer)
- Your username
- The program you were using (if applicable)
- A description of the problem (if an error message is given please include the EXACT error message)
- State if you wish to be notified when the problem has been investigated

Switch between Mac OS X & Win XP
- Restart Mac OS X/Win XP
- Hold down OPTION key during restart until both operating systems appear (shown below)

- Select the Operating System you wish to boot into. Once selected, the Mac will start up the chosen operating system as normal

Please Note: Both Mac OS X and Win XP require users to login with their central username and password (E.g: central e-mail account details)
