The print rooms that have printers are:

• Level 3
• Level 4
• Level 5

Print Quota

Research students do not have a print quota, however printer usage will be monitored for abuse.

Install a printer

1. Click the Start menu then Settings and click on Printers
2. Double click the Add Printer icon and click Next
3. In the Add Printer Wizard pop up box make sure that Network Printer has been checked
4. Click Next
5. Click on the Connect to printer option and then click Next
6. In the Shared printers window, double click the STUDENT domain
7. Scroll down and double-click the computer DISCOVERY
8. Select the printer you wish to print to, and click Next
9. Decide whether you want this to be your Default printer and then click Next
10. Click Finish

My document is not printing

• Check Printer: Have a look at the printer itself
• Make sure the printer is turned on. If the printer screen says offline you will need to press the green button once and the print jobs should start.
  
• If that doesn't work, check if there are any error messages displayed on the screen, for example out of paper.


• Log WebHelpdesk Request: If all else fails, please log a WebHelpdesk Request with a full description of the problem and or error message.
