Interaction Design Group
The Interaction Design Group is a thriving interdisciplinary group focused on understanding and improving interactive technology for people. The IDG spans a diverse range of research, exploring both desktop and mobile technologies.The group conducts a full program of seminars and conducts world class research.
The group works within and maintains the Department's world-class usability laboratory, the IDEA Lab.
The IDEA Lab supports a variety of activities concerning the design and evaluation of interactive technologies. Activities include user-based testing, heuristic evaluations and cognitive walkthroughs, brainstorming sessions and participatory design
