Teaching Awards
Our teaching awards process recognises excellence in teaching within the department. Staff could apply in one of three categories: undergraduate teaching, post-graduate teaching or, tutorial or laboratory support teaching. There are four broad areas to which these awards apply:
- Performance as a teacher within the relevant discipline field
- Contributions to the creation of materials that are designed to improve the quality of teaching and learning and are in regular use
- Contributions to the development and introduction of effective teaching and learning practices
- Publications concerning effective innovations in teaching and learning.
