"A Framework for Designing of Content Management System User Interface"

The explosion of internet and digital technology has driven the emergence of Content Management System (CMS). Started as Document or Web Site Management Applications, the system has grown into a complex system with many ambitious goals in several dimensions: to manage various types of content, to serve a large number of core and extended functionalities, and to cater for a wide range of context uses. The increase in complexity gives rise to steep user interface design challenges.

Proposed research attempts to create a model and framework used for designing of CMS user interface. Several existing user-centered design methodologies and usability techniques will be used to derive the model. Using the framework as reference, certain qualitative properties can be measured to evaluate CMS products.
