Joint Program in IT Management
The MIS/MBA is a unique graduate program that combines the study of Information Technology Management and Business Management. It is designed for high-achieving students on a fast track to Chief Information Officer (CIO) positions in senior management. The MIS is fully accredited by the Australian Computer Society and MIS and MBA graduates are successfully employed in multinational companies internationally.
The MIS/MBA is jointly offered by the Melbourne Business School and The Department of Information Systems (Melbourne Graduate School of Science) at the University of Melbourne. The MIS/MBA is a 26 subject program that can be completed in two years, and includes a combination of subjects from both the MIS and MBA programs.
MIS/MBA graduates become members of international alumni networks that foster links to the ICT and business community, offer further professional development and varied networking events.

Entry Requirements
IT undergraduate degree with at least a University of Melbourne H3 (65%) average or equivalent and TWO (2) years’ work experience. GMAT score essential for students applying for the MIS/MBA.
All applicants must meet the University's English language requirements. The most common requirements for international students are TOEFL 577 + TWE 4.5, Computer TOEFL 233 + 4.5 essay rating, or IELTS 6.5 (written 6.0).
